Los Alamos, NM — May 31, 2018 — projectY cowork Los Alamos is once again partnering with the Los Alamos Community Foundation (LACF) to offer local nonprofits a subsidy to the coworking space. The LACF subsidy program, initiated in 2016, provides funding to help cover the cost of a Groves membership plan, which allows access to projectY for five days, as well as two hours of conference room use, per month.
The subsidy is available to local 501(c)(3) nonprofits who are registered with LACF and conducting business in Los Alamos County. If a local nonprofit is not currently registered with LACF, they may register online at www.LosAlamosCF.org. The LACF will be offering subsidies to six nonprofit organizations on a rolling application basis starting July 1, 2018. Organizations may apply for this subsidy once per year, and if approved, may use the subsidy once every five years.
For each interested nonprofit, LACF covers $30 per month, for a total six-month subsidy of $180. The nonprofit pays $15 per month, for a $90 upfront commitment. At the end of the six-month period, the respective nonprofit can renew their membership with projectY cowork at the full monthly rate, upgrade to a different plan, or move to using the space on an as-needed basis. Those interested in applying for the LACF coworking subsidy can contact projectY cowork at [email protected] or 505-661-4862.
