projectY cowork, which celebrated its grand opening last month, serves as a hub for entrepreneurs, startups, freelancers, remote workers and independent contractors to gather, connect and work. Individuals can join projectY on a flexible membership plan or as a day-pass user, which allows them access to coffee, tea, snacks, a kitchen, high-speed, secure WiFi and an eight-person conference room — which is also available for outside rentals.
The space, open 24/7 for full-time members, also hosts regular events and programming that serve the needs of the local business and startup community. To date, it has welcomed Santa Fe-based consultant Grace Brill; Creative Startups; representatives from New Mexico State University’s Arrowhead Center New Mexico Fast program to discuss SBIR/STTR phase I proposals; some local entrepreneurs sharing their stories; and will be hosting the High Tech Regional Roundtable panel discussion on July 12 that focuses on technology investment and financial opportunities in New Mexico.
